Each of our coaches have many years of both coaching and playing experience at the USAV, high school and/or college levels. In addition, each of our coaches are required to complete the IMPACT certification, a pre-season coaching clinic, as well as a background screen completed by the Badger Region and USA Volleyball.
Also know, and no different than any successful high school program, our staff implements a proven club-wide training system each season. Under the guidance and direction of our Coaching Advisor, our Lead Coaches will develop practice itineraries for all athletes within their age group to ensure consistent training techniques for ALL of our athletes. We have developed a volleyball program, not just a club with a collection of teams and coaches. This type of training allows each athlete to receive the same comprehensive training as everyone else in her age group regardless of individual or team skill level.
Coaching Advisor
Toby Parker
Toby founded Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club (formerly Mad City VBC) back in 1998. That first season, Mad City VBC fielded four teams and 32 athletes. Nine years later, Midwest Juniors will once again be one of the largest club programs in Wisconsin with twenty-two teams, 225 athletes and a coaching staff of nearly twenty-five.
Toby has fourteen years high school Varsity coaching experience, nine years directing and coaching USAV club volleyball and three years at NJCAA Division III Madison Area Technical College. Some of his accomplishments include:
