Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club

Midwest Juniors Introduction

Established by Toby Parker in 1998, Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club is a Junior Olympic Volleyball program for girls and boys ages 12 through 18. It is one of over 130 clubs throughout the state of Wisconsin, and consistently one of the largest for the last five years.

The Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club organization is registered with the State of Wisconsin as an LLC and is recognized by the Better Business Bureau. We are following all procedures to qualify for 501(c)3 non-profit status at the earliest date possible.

Midwest Juniors Philosophy

The Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club is committed to the sport of volleyball and its positive application to the personal growth and development of the program's athletes and families. Staff, administration and support personnel within the Midwest Juniors Volleyball Club program will always strive to make the sport of volleyball and the act of athletic participation a teaching tool.

Our programs create an environment where individuals can learn the game of volleyball, develop a healthy competitive spirit, practice leadership skills and learn to work with others. One of our many goals is to help players develop a competitive attitude that propels them to excellence beyond athletics.

Our organization believes in the lessons that sport teaches each and every one of us. We believe the structure, discipline and effort required to succeed in team athletics teaches participants lifelong lessons. Lessons that help define and shape the personalities of adolescent athletes for the better.

Why Midwest Juniors?

Since our inaugural 1998 season, our growing reputation continues to speak for itself. That reputation has consistently made Midwest Juniors one of the largest club programs in the state. Our year-round, all-inclusive club also offers summer camps, a high school summer league for varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams, adult and junior tournaments, coach's clinics and an all new Pro Shop that is second to none. A quality, competitive atmosphere with the personal touch you've been looking for in a club.

Looking back on 2008, we are extremely proud of another season of solid growth and progress for our club...

• Our 21 teams participated in 204 different tournaments this season. A total tribute to everyone's hard work and determination, we appeared in 39 championship matches of some sort, winning 24 of them.
• Teams participating in our Traveling Program finished in the Gold division in nearly 75% of the tournaments they entered.
• Six more Midwest Juniors athletes will pursue a volleyball career at the collegiate level, bringing our nine-year total to over 60! Jessica Eichorst (Madison Tech), Trish Fadroski (Madison Tech), Hannah Grow (Clarke College), Briana Kaiser (UW Whitewater), Kristen Klein (Madison Tech), Kirsten Orth (Iowa Wesleyan)... we wish each of you the best of luck!!

Great job to each of our 2008 participants and their coaches. We look forward to 2009... our TENTH SEASON of providing Junior Olympic Volleyball opportunities for athletes all across southern Wisconsin!
